Reuse the paper towel by using it to open the door. (I’m assuming you’re in a public restroom.)
If you’re at the office, reuse the paper towel by bringing it to your desk and wiping down your surroundings.
In the kitchen, conserve. Use dish towels (aka tea towels) to dry your hands, then hang dry them. A 12-pack costs as much as a 12-pack of paper towels. Get a couple packs, and machine wash them weekly.
